I've used these gloves at the BBQ and the oven. They work great for me. My wife thinks they're a bit big but doesn't complain about their use. Having two gloves is really nice and recommended.

I bought two Ove Gloves when they first came on the market. Good concept - gloves instead of mittens - but two flaws: 1) You cannot hold something hot for an extended period of time. Yes, this is sometimes necessary to do, so you need to purchase backup silicone or traditional oven mitts for those jobs. 2) As other reviewers have noted, they never get really clean. It wouldn't be a big deal if (a) they weren't so expensive; (b) they were used in an environment that isn't dirty. But - hello! A kitchen is a place of liquid and grease and fat and truly colorful stains. Needless to say, I tossed/donated mine, learned a $30 lesson, and continue to search for a consistantly workable, across the board solution.

It was a present for my Father In law, he LOVES the gloves! Recommend it for anyone!

Other reviews have mentioned all these points but I thought I would reiterate them all. The Ove Glove is a great product and gives you a wonderful dexterity that you just can't get with other oven mits. However, it doesn't offer as much thermal protection as the less dexterous mits and this should be taken into account when using it. If you are just grabbing hot dishes to move them quickly, or removing something from the oven and setting it right back down then the Ove Glove is wonderful. However, if you will need to hold said hot dish for an extended period of time then you will notice the heat. Also, as noted in the warning that comes with the glove, DO NOT use it while wet, or let it get wet while you are using it. The glove conducts heat very quickly and efficiently when wet, more so than other oven mits I've used and accidentally gotten wet. I can promise you it will be a long, long time before you let get it wet after the first time!

I have been burnt several times using the Ove Glove. They are not good for handling professional-grade cookie sheets. I'm going back to traditional potholders.

Have used this product for years. Use to purchase it at a local Macy's store but they no longer carry it. Was told it is because customers are not purchasing as many silver products as before. Not cost effective to handle this product. This glove is a great product. It does a great job with minimal effort. Obtaining this product on Amazon was easy. Shipping cost was minimal probably as much as my time and gas to drive to local Macy's to purchase it and return home.

For a chore I hate doing, these gloves make it a breeze. So far, I have found nothing better in achieving a beautiful polish.

This works really well. It grips well and keeps the heat out. Some may not like the shape/feel, but for a few seconds at a time, who cares if it doesn't fit "like a glove"? I like the cloth inside, and it's easy to clean with water. (Personally, I would have preferred the blue, but it was a gift for my wife.)

*Way* more flexible than the Orkas I tried out in a local kitchen store and slightly less expensive. With their cloth interiors, they seem to grip to your hand better, rendering a more secure feeling, all the while providing adequate thermal resistance. They're long enough to provide good distal forearm protection (better than our previous all cloth model) and easy to clean up, especially if you keep the inner linings grease free. I specifically purchased the 'electric blue' version to ensure compatibility with our electric oven and have not been disappointed (kidding... just KIDDING! (heh!))!

Silicone is great but most silicone oven mitts like the Orca are stiff and awkward to get your hand into. My elderly father loves to cook and needed more heat protection but wouldn't give up his fabric mitts because silicone ones were unwieldy and difficult to put on. I was really excited to find that Norpro and Oxo both made silicone oven mitts with fabric inside, but the Norpro is definitely superior. It's as flexible as a fabric mitt and, because it's wider, it's easy to slide on in the heat of cooking up something delicious! The Oxo is way to stiff and tight. What's the point of a product that never gets used? This one is a go-to and it does exactly what it promises. The blue ones look great and though it's a little pricey, it's worth it!

The only thing that might make these better is a split-finger design (three-fingered glove). Other than that, these are pretty much perfect. Unlike silicone-only mitts, these have an extra thermal barrier in the cloth, and they feel a lot better to wear (none of that squeeky rubbery feel). Unlike cloth-only mitts, these can touch wet/oily things without immediately sucking it in and eliminating the heat barrier. There is a seam around the outer edge, but the silicone seals pretty well around that edge anyway. These also have a higher heat tolerance than those cloth mitts. I have very heat-sensitive hands, and these work great for me. I do wish they offered other colors, like yellow or orange, but their benefits far exceed my distaste for this color (it doesn't 'go' with anything else in my kitchen).

I hesitated in ordering this oven mitt after ordering the Oxo oven mitt in petite, and it was still too big for my smaller hands. Well, this oven mitt does seem to fit better for my smaller hands. At least when I use it, I feel more secure putting my hand into a hot oven, not thinking I may burn myself. I love the cheery bright pink color too.

If you like Neil Diamond's music, then buy this CD. It is one of his best live performances, maybe the best. You will not be disappointed.

First of all this was not done in 2008. It was not a DVD/CD. The pictures on the cover were of Neal in the 70s. Not happy at all with my purchase. The seller was supposed to send my money back and has not. The case was broken and the mail packaging was torn.

It takes you to the neighborhood where he grew up. He went to see where he lived and the people let him see the apartment. He talked with a bunch of boys on bicycles on his music. They haven't heard of his songs but it was fine with him. Different generation. Different kind of music. Great concert.

I've been a Neil Diamond fan for years, and watching this concert DVD was a pleasure to my senses, I especially liked the "welcome home" preamble to the dvd, it was fun watching Neil walk through the old neighborhood, then the build up to the performance that evening, if you are a Neil Diamond fan, I believe you will find this worth it, some of his performances seemed a bit lackluster, he seemed to be "going through the motions" at some points of the show, but on other songs he really belted them out with energy & was really into pleasing the audience.

These are nice work socks for colder climates. They work well for me. I finally got the right size after I mailed back the wrong size that was sent. When I mailed back the wrong size socks they some how got lost in the mail. I was out my 20 bucks. O well I guess that's what you get when you order on line. Other wise I love the socks!

I thought I'd try these since I loved the Wigwam Comfort Hiker socks so much, but these socks are a major disappointment. They're way too thin, but even worse, they have a terrible, squared-off toe. So you can feel this hard nub in the corners of your shoes.

the sox i got were not worth the money i paid for them , if they were my feet would not be getting cold when i wear them .

Great gift for a winter time. I would recommend it to my family and friends.

My husband really likes these socks. I got some for him last year and he requested more this year...they are warm and durable...

I bought these for my son who drives a forklift. He said they are great. They are thin enough that he can control all levers and gear shifts. Any product from Carhartt is wonderful!

I had these gloves for a couple of years and was extreemly happy with them. They fit well, they had excelent mobility as well as dexterity. They even have good padding in the grip to keep your hands from hurting after long use. I wore them until I wore the leather straight through on two of the fingers and then I bought another pair. I really do recommend these gloves and I hope you enjoy them!

I'm a landscaper and liked the idea of the 3 Pack. These are pretty nice leather gloves for the price. They are not the heavy thick type, but sort of medium,...perfect though, for all around digging and physical work. I've got my two pairs of them in reserve and am still going with that first pair,....and after a good while. I'm pleased.

These gloves are an excelent option to use them at a gym. I like the cushion fit and the wrist band that protects you of the bending of your wrist. Are very confortable. But i really don't like the feeling of the glove, seems to be weak and a poor made plastic. In a long term use, seems to scratched.

I wanted some weight lifting gloves with wrist support. The hand part doesn't have enough padding should be thicker. I lift very heavy weights and the bar feels like it's right in my hand it self. I still recommend this glove.

I'm cheap when it comes to buying certain things and to pay $26 for a pair of training gloves was a bit much for me. However I was tired of the cheap gloves that I had purchased allowing callus to form on my hands. When one of the guys that I work out with showed me his pair of Harbinger Training Gloves I was like, "those are nice but you paid how much?" Well I broke down and bought a pair and I'm so happy I did. They fit nice and snug with enough padding that I don't feel the weight bar or pull up bar when I'm working out. Also I have not had any peeling skin on my hands since using them. They are well...more than well...worth the money.

One of the guys in the local gym had a pair for the last three years and during that period, I have been through two pairs of weight-lifting gloves. Decided to purchase a pair under his recommendation. Excellent fit and finish. Enough padding and support to give you comfort and confidence to lift the weights and definitely not bulky to give that vague feeling. The price was very good for the quality received. Definitely recommend to casual and serious weight trainers.

I like the gloves over all however as with many simialr gloves, for me, the fingers are not quite long enough. I have arthritis all over my hands and nodules on the joints right below the fingernail and the fingers on these gloves don't come up high enough to cover that. Also the top of the thumb comes right across the knuckle on my thumb which is a very tender spot. I would recommend these more if maybe there was a bit more variety in coverage.

I have very poor circulation in my fingers, especially the tips. My whole body can be warm and even hot but my fingers will be like ice. I wasn't sure how well the compression would warm my tips since the gloves don't cover them. I just recieved my gloves this morning and I've been wearing them for about 45 minutes. I'M AMAZED AT HOW WELL THEY WORK! I can't believe that my hands are warm but so are my fingers AND the tips! My hands aren't too hot which was another concern I had. I just walked into another room and I could feel cool air coming through just with the swinging of my arms. I'm able to type with them so I should be able to do anything else as well. They're very comfortable with the seams on the outside and being a neutral color, rather than black, is nice. One word about size... incorrect! According to the size diagram I should've ordered a Medium since my circumference is 7.5". Thankfully I read these reviews before ordering and others mentioned the size. I got small and the pressure is perfect. I don't know how well they work for other ailments but I HIGHLY recommend them for poor circulation. They're wonderful!

The user wears these gloves every day and seems to get some support & relief from them. However,I wish that the quality of the sewing was better & more sturdy.

Bought these glove to help with arthritis pain. At the same time, I purchased a pair of Imak arthritis gloves. The Imaks are so much better! What I do like about these gloves is that the go far above my wrists thereby giving some relief in tht area.

I don't have anything to compare this too since this is the first pair of arthritis gloves I've tried. I have fibromyalgia and its especially bad in my hands so I was hoping this would help. I don't think I can really feel that much of a difference. It's nice having the seems on the outside though, so it's not irritating. But the seems at the bottom have started to unravel, and I don't even wear them that often.

I bought the gloves to complete the costume my 5 year old son wanted and he loves them. The gloves are a little big for him, but makes it more fun for playing Spiderman!

My 3YO just loves Spiderman and was super happy with these gloves. It's a bit big for him - maybe looks to fit a 4/5YO about right - but he didn't care. If your child loves Spiderman, they won't either. Durable and will work well with a Spiderman Halloween costume.

The gloves fit great and have lots of adjustments to tighten them just right. They provide plenty of protection to your hands when pounding the heavy bag. Very happy I bought them.

I agree, they do run small. Mine are XL and I only weigh 140. I use them for my speed bags, double end bag and free standing heavy bag which is not real hard or heavy. They do better than any other gloves for that. Having punched at a lot of heavy bags, certainly heavy bags are not all the same, so for "real" heavy bags, go with a much fuller bag glove and not just these. They do take up a lot of space under bag gloves or sparring gloves. I like the way the fingers are still free to use the medicine ball and weights and then go right back into hitting the bags. Again, for harder heavy bags, go with complete bag gloves at about 12 to 16 oz.

these are meant to use as hand wraps but they suck when using with gloves over them. the fingers curl back and they dont function anywhere near as good as taking the time to wrap the tried and true way. as bag gloves they will tear very quickly. i wish someone had told me this info before i had purchased..they are pretty comfortable i will give them that but i have decided through my own experience this a fad item or a trend...i went back to wraps .once you get into a habit you can wrap good in a short time

Firstly I have to say they are called Hand Wraps, not Gloves, for a reason. People using these as gloves make up the vast majority of negative reviews, which is a shame. As Hand Wraps these are intended to be worn beneath your gloves taking place of the original hand wraps, which you actually had to wrap around your hand. They are very quick to put on, quite comfortable, and offer a stiff wrist. Having used them every three days for the past two months I have no complaints, they are starting to break down a bit, but I use them quite heavily and they are on pace to last as long as old fashion wraps. I will be buying another set, they make it easy to get in a quick heavy bag routine.

I got these wraps as part of an Everlast set that also included a pair of Everlast boxing gloves. I've only had them for two months and use them primarily under my gloves and on my Century Wavemaster boxing bag. They provide nice wrist support and are easy to get off and on. I see them holding up well in the future. Since there is no mention of sizing on the package, I did an internet search for how to measure your hands to buy these gloves, and this is what I found: To determine correct size, measure the distance across the lowest knuckles (the knuckles you punch with) of the 4 upper fingers (all the fingers except the thumb). Measure by laying knuckles flat on a ruler. How to measure your hand: Size Measurement Small 3" - 3 1/4" Medium 3 1/4" - 3 1/2" Large 3 1/2" - 3 3/4" X-Large 3 7/8" + Hopefully that helps you pick out the right size!

I use these when I go running in cold weather, as they still allow me to access touch screens (my iPhone), but do a decent job of keeping my hands warm. They probably won't last forever, but assuming you're paying a very low price like I did, it's a good deal. Granted, I'm sure I could find these for a few bucks at the right retail store, but buying online was simpler.

I am happy and satisfied w/ my purchase and the price for these gloves. I have really abused them (LOL) and they've lasted all the while I have had them. They're very convenient to have around. I recommend this purchase to everyone.

with shipping these come out a bit under $10.00. they fit well for those with small-medium hands. They do cover about 2/3 of your fingers which is a good thing.

I was duped by someone else's review stating that these are much better than those cheap magic gloves. On the contrary - the packaging actually says "Magic Gloves". If you've ever worn Magic Gloves you know they are basically made for children and not appropriately sized for the vast majority of adult hands. Although they are reinforced at the fingers so they won't fray, they are still not worth the price. If you have "child hands" that fit into magic gloves, just buy them at the dollar store or someplace like that, and cut the fingers off yourself. Update: The Vendor has lowered the price from $9.99 to $4.85. With free shipping I would say they are probably worth the price now.

These turned out to be just what I needed...a little extra warmth for my hands for a winter's day motorcycle ride. These fit perfectly under my camo Hot Shot gloves. Can't beat the price!! BUY THESE.

I use these gloves mainly as stand-alone without any external gloves, and they work great. It offers moderate thermal/wind protection even when temperatures are around 30s (may be subjective based on individual's tolerance to cold)... The best thing is the gloves hug the fingers well and is not bulky, giving you good dexterity (e.g. reaching for keys in pockets, operating cell phones, etc.)!

Light and warm liners. Used them alone without mittens or gloves most of the weekend of my camping trip. Got wet and dryed quickly over a fire. Does seem like they are kinda thin tho but are holding up good so far.

I purchased these to use for a light glove and not a glove liner as intended. I deliver mail for a living and have been looking for a thin glove to use for many years now. Although these are not exactley what I would like for a light glove, I am still giving them a five star rating because they are really a liner. I use them alone and they do a good job of keeping my hands warm when the weather is over 25 degrees f. They are very comfotable and thin, which enables me to sort through my mail with ease while wearing them. I am going to continue searching for a pair this thin but would be warmer as the weather here in Northern Michigan can get much much colder. In the meantime I would reccomend this product to anyone and the seller was excellent too.

If you live in a very hot area of the country, these gloves "might" do the trick, otherwise - forget it. They get an A for marketing, calling them Thermax but an F in working. These are nothing more than a little thicker than nylons that you wear under your other gloves. To give you a comparison - Isotoner gloves are about 5 times thicker than this. These are nothing but a cheap layer of cloth that do next to nothing. If I still had the packaging - they would be going back..

Bought these gloves for my husband to take on a trip to the east coast during the snow storms. He loved them and said they were soft, warm and comfortable and was ever so happy to have them. Sadly, he lost them at the airport so I bought him another pair!

Just received these in the mail today from LeatherUp. First, LeatherUp is a great store to deal with. SUPER fast delivery and you get just what you ordered. As for the gloves, while I'm sure there are better ones on the market (I looked around for a couple weeks), I doubt there are better for the price. I got home from work, opened up the package, slipped them on and just had to go for a ride. Fantastic feel. Good dexterity (I'm able to fasten and unfasten my helmet with them on). Good air flow. I live in the Mojave Desert, so it's around 65 degrees around sunset now, and the overall feel was awesome. How they will feel next summer when it's over 100, good question. For now, the are my gloves of choice. Hope this helps.

The Golden Glove is about a kid who has a glove that is really good and he thinks it is sort of magical. But then he loses the glove and and has to borrow a different glove that doesn't work as well but then he finds out what they used for gloves in the old days and every glove is the same. Then at the very end he finds his own glove. I recommend this book for anyone who likes baseball. This book has good characters, and strong plot and it's funny.

This was such a well written story of love, illegal lust and a deep relationship between 2 people that should never have even met. Their story of a young boy rescued by a father who recently lost his own son (the same age) is a story that deep down you knew was doomed. Then, the kiss that changed their lives. The boy had a deep love, but also wanted to be his stepfather's lover when he got older. The older man held off his adopted son's feelings for so long, it tugged at one's heart. (At least mine)It was so sad, so poignant and such unrequited love I almost wanted to re-write the ending. Praise to Neal Drinnan for beauty in words.

The subject matter of this book is very challenging--the sexual precocity of a damaged child and his manipulation and seduction of a father figure--but it is absolutely riveting. The story has the quality of a Greek tragedy. Ruin and destruction are all but inevitable from the first pages, the consequences of Shamash's fundamental weakness of character and of Johnny's unwillingness to stop his single-minded pursuit of Shamash, whom he genuinely loves, but with a child's greediness and lack of appreciation for consequences.I highly recommend this book.

"Glove Puppet" is an outstanding "autobiography" of a 20-year old man (Vas) who was raised in the theatre.This book is everything that is good about true literature and every bit as racey as a great porn novel.We start off the book with meeting our young Vas in a train station where his mother is dying from an OD.. Enter now our tragic hero (well that is how I saw him).. He picks the boy up and wisks him into a different life.Well Vas reaches puberty and things begin to spiral down from there.. First he seduces his "father" then several of his fathers lovers.. and then there is the prostitution.. Drugs and men..And all this goes on within a plot that is clear and well defined.This may be a short book but, it is one(like many men before me) that you should own and read.

This is a wonderful little book. Comedy, TRADGEDY, romance, sex, taboo ... A little bit of everything. The characters are all beautifully written and they draw you deeply into their story. A little dark, yes, but an excellent read. Drinnan is a great writer. This, as well as Pussy's Bow and Quills, are all well worth reading. I'm waiting for a new one!

I bought this book early in 2001, read it on the beach in two days, and subsequently gave it to a friend to read. I've learned that it's gone through about four people who have all said that they think it's brilliant. It's racy. It's horrible. It's scary. It's even heartwarming at times.

The belt is very nice quality and looks great. I always get size 34 for my husband and never had a problem. This one runs small. I wish I'd ordered the 36. He can wear it but it's on the last hole.

I bought this belt because I thought it looked pretty sharp, and from the photos it does. However, the buckle is very poorly designed and always looks crooked because it is unbalanced. Basically the buckle looks funky once it is locked into the desired fit because there's so much extra room where the belt slides through the buckle. I would not recommend this belt in the least.

I'll keep this short and to the point because I'm a busy man;) (for me this is short) Bed:Stu Men's Novello Oxford, (and most of their line) can go business to casual and loose nothing in either form..They are not only mod/stylish and dare I say wicked but very comfortable and true to size wide or narrow width wise for any guy.
