Mechanix Wear Original Glove Mechanix Wear Original Glove

Bought these for my husband for Christmas to replace another pair of Mechanix gloves that the sides of the fingers wore out. These have leather on the sides of the fingers, so they are much more durable. They fit great and allow for good movement. He usually wears XL winter gloves, and the XL in these fit perfectly.

This is a great set of gloves, the look and feel of them is great...

I have two pair and they work great for your garage works and small things to pick up.

Save yourselves time waiting, and paying $4.00 over Lowes and Home Depot. The glove itself is a good value, provided you pay $14.00 or less for the pair.

These gloves fit extremely well. You can easily pick up small nuts and bolts with these gloves on. I won't ever work on my car without these.

Mechanix Wear Original Glove Mechanix Wear Original Glove

Reviews

This is a fantastic all around light weight glove. The are comfortable enough to wear all day and are useful for any tasked needing light gloves. I have worn them for work (military stuff), shooting, dirty work, mechanical work and even as a summer glove for motorcycle riding. As a motorcycle glove they are good for around town sort of trips. The are not very thick and so vibration can be an issue on longer trips.. But for the price they fit better than many gloves that cost twice as much and can usually be found at the local Walmart.

At first I was skeptic about Mechanix Wear's sizing chart (located in their website). It said I was a medium but I had always thought I would fit a small better. I ordered the medium regardless and once I tried it on, it fit amazingly! I was surprised how comfortable it was. It's thick but I am still able to text with my phone while wearing these gloves. The covert color is perfect for me. This is my first Mechanix Wear and will certainly not be my last.

Always liked the gloves, not the advertising for wearing in public. If it's just the shop, no problem and colors make them easier to find and separate from someone else's. Good for concealed carry or cold or cool days at the range. Met my expectations. I would buy again and will when they wear out.

This is my first Amazon.com purchase, very good experience. I bought these on the recommendation of a buddy who wore them in Iraq, he swears by them and now I see why. Very happy with the Mechanix wear original gloves. I bought two pair , gloves wear out and by buying two pair at once I got free super saver shipping. I'm also of the mindset that two is one and one is none. I am impressed enough with them that I intend to keep a new pair in waiting at all times. The coyote color is nice and subdued, goes well with carhartt type colors and multicam. Overall lightweight and flexible. The synthetic gripping surface feels kind of like a very fine suede.. good grip but not so sticky that it hangs up on things. I can still dig in my pack/pockets and pick one thing out with no unwanted items coming along for the ride. Fit and finish is great, seams are well stitched, the glove feels and looks good. The hook and loop closure is perfect. I would describe it as a "micro" hook and loop. It's much quieter when separated than old style velcro, doesn't look like it will fuzz up and deteriorate like old style velcro either.

I recently bought these to replace my last set of tactical gloves that had worn out. I use these while in the field, general tasks, and shooting. The biggest advantage of these gloves over others I have used is that these actually last longer during heavy use. If you are wearing these everyday, expect these to last at least 45 days. That is quite a bit longer than standard flight gloves, which usually last me around 30 days, sometimes less. Good features: Leather bottom is thin enough to still feel trigger finger. I can also manipulate and use a laptop, radio and other small electronic devices like GPS while wearing them. The top is breathable, and allows my hand to feel cooler than either flight gloves or my last pair of black hawk tactical gloves. The velcro is the new type of velcro that is non abrasive, hard plastic. This is good because it doesn't wear out as fast nor does it melt as easily as gen I velcro. Negatives: Not as tight fitting around my fingers as I prefer. The thumb cut should be deeper, when I open my palm the material is tight between my pointing finger and thumb. If you use a firearm with a thick diameter grip such as a Beretta M92F, and your gloves are tight, this could be annoying and reduce accuracy by making an unnatural grip feel. Also the gloves have an annoyingly placed, very large tag on the side, it looks like ass when you cut it off too.

I love bandless earmuffs because I can just slip them into my pockets when I'm just using them -- most earmuffs just take up way too much space to carry around. These work pretty well, but I have some trouble keeping them on my right ear. I think my ear must be shaped oddly, though, because I don't have any problem with my left ear (and it makes no difference which earmuff I use). When they're on, I feel a bit of a pinch, but it isn't painful and I quickly get used to it (and it's much better than having my ears freeze). I like that they have a large enough hole for ears that I can fit my earbud headphones in them perfectly, and the earmuffs keep my headphones from falling out (sometimes my cord gets caught on my jacket zipper, so the headphones used to occasionally fall out). I would advise against using these when it's really really windy out because they may fly off, but otherwise, they are decent and cost-effective.

I bought a pair of ear mitts about 5 years ago and I wear them frequently in the winter. I recently bought a few more (some for me and some to give as gifts). They came as pictured and they are well worth the money. They are great to wear alone or along with a hat. I often wear my ear mitts while running and do not have trouble with them falling off. When worn alone on windy days, they feel like they might fall off, but so far they have not. (Note: I live in Ohio, but I'm sure the winds are much stronger in other areas of the country, so I can't say for sure that the ear mitts will stay on with all windy conditions. I can only say that they've stayed on for me so far.)

I gave these as Christmas gifts. They're nice little pocket sized mits. They may not fit everyone's ears comfortably, but they should most.

I like these ear muffs very much. I had Ear Pops in the past, but they did not have any insulation so the wind could blow through the thin material when biking at 20 MPH and chill my ears. These new ones have a protective layer at the center and keep my ears warm even when biking at 25 degrees Fahrenheit.

I am very pleased with these ear mitts. They are warm and stay on well.

Raider Leather Motorcycle Riding Glove Raider Leather Motorcycle Riding Glove

I got these gloves for cold weather riding, but I found one other use. I work in a restaurant and have to spend up to an hour at a time in the freezers cleaning and getting frozen product. With these gloves, I can do my job in comfort. Well worth the money.

Used it a few times, keeps warm in moderate temps. Should work well in the spring.

These gloves are great. After a ride around town at about 50 degrees, my hands were the warmest part of my body! Thanks to the gauntlet design, you wont feel even a mild breeze at high speeds. The leather seems very durable. I gave it a 4 instead of 5 because I can feel a little bit of the stitching (on the inside of the glove) scratch against my hand at times. Completely worth the money. I would buy them again.

Very cheap, worth the buy. Don't expect something great. But for the $$$ can't be beat. Thread lil loose. Lil rough inside.....

These are very well priced gloves and the gauntlet style is great during rainy/cold weather, but the plastic clasp broke with hours of using these on a ride. If you need something quick and cheap, get these. If you can wait and want some thing that will last, please look elsewhere. These are very warm gloves, so please don't get them for summer riding.

Ear Mitts Great Gloves!TM Black KNIT Gloves with ThinsulateTM Insulation Ear Mitts Great Gloves!TM Black KNIT Gloves with ThinsulateTM Insulation

Reviews

These gloves are very warm but don't make the hands sweaty. The leather strips on the fingers give the grip that is hard to come by in knit gloves. The fingers ran slightly smaller than I thought and I have slender fingers. Other than that they were perfect.

i wrote a review earlier, but it was much too early. these gloves aren't worth anything, except wearing to drive on a sunny cold day. they look hugh on the hands but will stay on. they are worthless for doing anything outside. if they get even a little wet like using an ice scraper they are done for the day. they stay wet & cold for a long time. there is no grip on the inside either. even though they've sewn something on, not recommended sherry mcclendon, booneville, arkansas

The gloves look great and provide adequate warmth (I'm in Michigan and they are plenty warm for January temps here) but the cuff has already ripped after 2 weeks of use and the inside liner has separated from the outer shell. Overall, the gloves look good but I would buy another brand as they do not seem to be made very well.

Original review: My boyfriend has lived in Chicagoland his entire life, yet didn't have gloves!! Winter after winter we have 1 digit temperatures, negative wind chills, and lots of snow and sleet. His hands would get so dry and chapped, yet he never had gloves and didn't want to get any b/c he didn't like any he tried - so just would tuck his hands in his pockets. This year for Christmas I decided enough is enough! I sat down and searched high and low online and settled on this pair in black. The reviews were great, plus they boasted being thin and easy to maneuver in - the main reason he didn't want to wear them before. A little hefty of a price for gloves (in my opinion) but WELL WORTH IT! He opened them a little unsure Christmas morning, but started wearing them the next day and I haven't seen him go outside without them since! He absolutely loves that they are warm, yet not too thick. Also, the leather padding makes it possible to still open doors, grab things, and drive comfortably. I'm really pleased with these gloves - I thought I'd be returning them b/c he is so picky - but he loves them and that means I love them! I highly recommend them for any guy in your life - ones that want gloves, and those that are picky about gloves! They're also machine washable (air dry) a big plus versus leather and dressier gloves, so they can remain clean and be upkept for winters to come! ----- EDITED: Not a month later the gloves had areas where the stitching was starting to come undone. Returned easily and ordered new pair. Will wait to see if construction holds up on 2nd pair or if faulty product. 2nd pair received no hassle and refund given. HOWEVER, after only a week this time the 2nd pair are in even worse shape than the first. Stitching that attaches finger pads is coming undone and weaving where thumb join connects to glove is unfraying. Inside of the glove the lining has ripped halfway apart from the glove itself. Will be returning this 2nd pair for a refund as well and NOT re-ordering. Two stars still given b/c if constructed ok (maybe ours are lemons) these have the POTENTIAL to be terrific gloves. Also, they are no hassle and stress free as far as returning and issuing a refund, which is always a plus in my book.

If you're looking for pretty, dainty, gloves - look elsewhere. If you want gloves that will keep your fingers and wrists warm, then these might be the gloves for you. I've been wearing these gloves for a few weeks and have been very happy with them. Aesthetically, they are a bit bulky. Functionally, they are excellent. The Thinsulate fleece will keep your fingers warm, and the fold over knit spans the gap between between your wrist and your coat sleeve. Perfect to wear while running errands in the winter months.

Black Handlebar Mitts for Snowmobiles, Motorcycles or ATV's Black Handlebar Mitts for Snowmobiles, Motorcycles or ATV's

Reviews

These things are great. For years I tried different types of gloves with no success in keeping the tips of my fingers from getting numb. I put a pair of these on my bike and haven't had that problem since. Sure, they sell gloves with batteries or electric plugs that you can attach to your bike, but who needs that hassle, or expense. My fingers might get a little cold, but nothing bad, you don't even need gloves under the mitts. I've ridden with them in temps of the mid 20's and was still comfortable. I will say, this is the first year I've had a fairing on a bike, but the problem has never been with the wind hitting my hands, more that the controls are freezing and the tips of my fingers getting that whitish color from holding on to them. So I'm happy with this product. They saved me a bunch of money by not having to install electric hand grips or dealing with batteries or plugin cords. The only downside of putting the mitts on a motorcycle is the mirrors and break or clutch reservoirs. It allows for a little air to seep in but again, nothing bad, you can plug the leak up easy enough with a little imagination, or you can remove the mirrors and install them through the mitts if you want a better seal.

I got these for a costume...don't own a motorcycle but I imagine they would work great for motorcycle gloves

The Gloves arrived earlier than I expected so that was a plus...and they fit great!:)

TO SMALL!! just becaust they say XXXL doesn't make them that size. Large at best!! Is it really that hard???

Every time i have ordered gloves in the past they turned out to be smaller than advertised. i have borderline medium - large hand and usually end up with large or extra large gloves just fitting this baby was advertised as large but it was at least xor xx large which is not very good for a fingerless that suppose to fit tight. So adjust your order accordingly.

Bought as a "cheap" father's day gift from my son for dad. They run a little small, and they look cheap. Needless to say dad has never used them.

Product works great for my sons hockey skates and gloves. I bought the glove attachments seperately but dont really need them for hockey gloves. Also handy for after washing tennis shoes to get them dry and wearable in about 2 hours.

Wow, these work just like their description says. They go on the Peet boot dryer and dry your gloves.PEET Shoe Dryer GDP-B Glove DryPort Attachment

Highly recommend these for fast drying ski gloves...and for work gloves. Keeps form of gloves and works great for leather.

I order the Peet boot dryer. It is a good product. However the page also advertised Peet shoe and glove dryer accessories. There is a picture of glove dryer extensions as well as wader extensions right beside each other. I ordered this product as well and was very disappointed when I only recieved the wader extensions. Why would you put the two pictures right beside each other on the website if they are not sold together. This to me is false advertising and has turned me off from using this site again for on-line shopping.

Great attachment to the peet shoe dryer. with slow heat gloves dry from the inside out, wet snow gloves dry within hours and are toasty warm when going outside.

Based on the first wearing, I'm very happy with the sizing and walking comfort of these boots. I wear a Mens 13 medium width and experienced sizing problems with competitive touring boots costing $100 more; the BMW Allround and RoadGear XKJ boots. The BMW European sizing bracketed my foot size -- 48 was too big, 47 too small -- and the XKJ boots were too small. These Solution boots are a little difficult to get on -- some rocking of the foot is required -- but it is manageable and I imagine that will go away as the material breaks in. Attractive and well constructed.

I bought this boot to my husband and he just loved it. It's a very good boot to those that intent to travel by motorcycle.

As usual, these boots are a little stiff at first, but break in quite quickly. Comfortable to walk in, good angle at the ankle for a sport bike riding position. Seem to be well made, I like them so far.

I bought these for a gift for someone after all the guys on the moto websites say these boots are the ticket for comfort and dry feet. The receipent of the gift LOVES them and wears them every day on his moto to work.
