DryGuy BootGlove Boot CoversReviewsI like the idea, and the covers are very well made. I just can't get the covers on my boots in a way that doesn't interfere with the ski binding in the toe area. I could probably trim the front of the cover to get it away from the binding, but decided to return the covers instead. Worth a try for the price if you're finding your feet constantly cold. However, my experience was not as positive as some other reviewers. The difference was marginal with my Head S11 boots. My ski buddy on the other hand, swears by the BootGlove saying he never has cold toes when wearing them. For those who have air leaks, the improvement will be better than those with good, tight seams. Construction and durability seem to be good. Haven't had the chance to use these yet, but the quality is great, the velcroe closures are REALLY strong, and they slip onto the the boot easily. Based on the instructions I should have ordered smalls, but ordered mediums... and I'm glad I did. The mediums fit my size 6 boots perfectly. Waiting for a deep powder day to give them a try. The pair of BootGloves I purchased disintegrated after only 2 days of skiing. They tear easily. Also, the toes of the BootGloves folded back in ankle-deep snow, thus became permanently stretched and useless. If you think about how much of heat loss is due a 30-40 mile an hour wind whipping at your boots, you're not surprised that these work as well as a boot heater. Combined with a heater, you'll probably never get cold. Haven't tried it since the thermics I bought were dogs. Buying here was way cheaper than buying on mountain. Average Rating:![]() |

Youngstown Glove Co. Waterproof Gauntlet XT Performance GloveReviewsThese gloves are as advertised and have yet to soak through in snow (so far). They aren't as flexible as I had hoped, but they are better than the majority of winter gloves. But to perform so well, they aren't all that thick and the fingers can get cold in the wind and 10*F for prolonged periods (over an hour). Overall though, I would recommend them. I bought this for 1 reason only.. the wear and tear. My old gloves were ripping at the seams and I needed something that would last at least a couple years. These gloves are pretty good but a bit stiff. From the way they fit, the pinky fingers don't fit me right so they peak out like an 'english tea pinky' if ya know what I mean. Other than that, I can grip things pretty well and grab sharp edges with comfort. Theses gloves far surpass the winter gloves found in sporting goods stores, or better. The first thing I noticed with these gloves are they are WAY tighter than normal gloves. The reviews saying you have to buy two sizes larger is absolutely correct. I bought one size larger, Large to XL and they just fit. I hope they'll break in and get more pliable over time. The outside shell/grips of these gloves are 100% synthetic(no leather, canvas or cloth). The one thing I am disappointed with these gloves, that no one else is stating is that they're made in China. Pros - Glove sizes are accurate, maybe slightly on the tight side - Good for bad weather down to 20 degrees F or so - Drawstring around cuff keeps snow out nicely - Good flexibility and grip Cons - Not as warm as I thought they'd be. Extended use in 10 degree F didn't keep fingers warm - Not waterproof as stated. I'd call them "weather proof" instead. Extended use in cold, slushy snow conditions eventually soaked through to hands. Will keep hands warm and dry for a number of hours though. - Sides and back of fingers is made of very rough material, not suitable for wiping snow off glasses or scratching your nose. Other gloves I've used have soft material in this area for that purpose. I've had these gloves for about 3 months now. I bought them for riding my motorcycle to work. They have kept my fingers warm down to about 30 degrees F. I wore them one morning when it was 22 degrees F. and by the time I arrived at work, my fingers were very cold. I did not wear glove liners with them, might have made it better. The dexterity is good, not great for motorcycling and the grip is excellent. Have worn them quite a few times and I am happy with them. I too think the sizing is a little tight, you might be better off to go one size up. I haven't been caught in the rain with them yet, so I don't know how waterproof they are. Average Rating:![]() |

Youngstown Glove Co. Waterproof Winter Plus Performance GloveReviewsThese gloves have been awesomely warm. They have the best grip of any glove I have ever had. Far superior to most winter gloves. True to size. Quite durable. I've worn for 2 months now with no issues. Not really water proof. I'd call it higly water resistant. Very good for Ky winters. Great gloves for moderately low temperatures. Could be a little warmer, but if you're only going out for a little while or if its above 20F, your hands will be warm. Haven't stuck my hands in water so not sure how waterproof they really are, but in snow they seem to stay dry. They look pretty slick too, so that's a bonus :) The grip on these gloves is amazing, no slippage will be going on with these! I have used my gloves when riding my bike at 30F and no rain and my fingers ended all red and hurting: not really warm for mild winter in Texas. I used my gloves when raining and, although I got to the end of my trip with my hands dry, when I got my gloves to do my ride back home they were wet inside. So, not really winter proof and not really water proof. I feel like I wasted my money and that this company has no problem making claims about their products which do not stand the simplest test. Very disappointed. I love these gloves :) Before I go further though I would like to suggest that every but up a size, I have hands considered to be medium but the mediums were a little small. They have stretched a bit though and they fit much better now. Ok so I have found the gloves to be extremely water proof I can mes around in slushy snow and not have to worry about my hands getting wet. I also live in MN and it really cold up here and they have kept my hands warmer than any other glove I've ever owned in -10 degree weather. Not to say my hands were warm but I've never had a pair of gloves or mitten that retain heat at the temperature. They also have a very tough palm and very tough finger pads. It remains flexible while giving the toughness and grip I wanted. These glove are perfect for snowboarding and that is what I use them for. They hold up extremely well under trial of the tow rope. They also just look totally BA when you wear them so.... Average Rating:![]() |

Seirus Innovation Deluxe Thermax Glove LinerReviewsThese turned out to be just what I needed...a little extra warmth for my hands for a winter's day motorcycle ride. These fit perfectly under my camo Hot Shot gloves. Can't beat the price!! BUY THESE. I use these gloves mainly as stand-alone without any external gloves, and they work great. It offers moderate thermal/wind protection even when temperatures are around 30s (may be subjective based on individual's tolerance to cold)... The best thing is the gloves hug the fingers well and is not bulky, giving you good dexterity (e.g. reaching for keys in pockets, operating cell phones, etc.)! Light and warm liners. Used them alone without mittens or gloves most of the weekend of my camping trip. Got wet and dryed quickly over a fire. Does seem like they are kinda thin tho but are holding up good so far. I purchased these to use for a light glove and not a glove liner as intended. I deliver mail for a living and have been looking for a thin glove to use for many years now. Although these are not exactley what I would like for a light glove, I am still giving them a five star rating because they are really a liner. I use them alone and they do a good job of keeping my hands warm when the weather is over 25 degrees f. They are very comfotable and thin, which enables me to sort through my mail with ease while wearing them. I am going to continue searching for a pair this thin but would be warmer as the weather here in Northern Michigan can get much much colder. In the meantime I would reccomend this product to anyone and the seller was excellent too. If you live in a very hot area of the country, these gloves "might" do the trick, otherwise - forget it. They get an A for marketing, calling them Thermax but an F in working. These are nothing more than a little thicker than nylons that you wear under your other gloves. To give you a comparison - Isotoner gloves are about 5 times thicker than this. These are nothing but a cheap layer of cloth that do next to nothing. If I still had the packaging - they would be going back.. Average Rating:![]() |
